My first time using this shop is the last time I'll ever visit it. I had to get my mother of the bride dress altered. The estimate is $50.00 for this alteration which blew my mind. I had no idea it would be so high. I then figured, maybe it was because of the fabric and was anticipating it to be hand sewn. I know how long it takes to machine alter a hem. Anyway, I come back at the time specified and try it on and it's messed up. The outer lining which was very sheer is at least an inch shorter than the inside layer/lining. They never even checked. I couldn't believe it and by the lady's face she couldn't either. I will say that she was very apologetic and asked me to come back in half an hour. (What took 3 days previously can now be done in a half an hour?) Okay. They have the gall to ask for the full amount and then I find out that it is in fact machine stitched. I am livid with this store and will never go back. Thank god there are so many other stores in this city to choose from.
