I'm the real owner of the 99 chrysler sebring if I'm right about who wrote that review and most of that review is not true. if I'm right that is one of my angry family members who im not going to mention names of, but i consider troy to be one of my personal friends and he has paid to replace a door part that cost him $100 and didn't cost me a thing and i dont think youll find a more honest person in the car business.
I was considering a purchase From Troy Hamby Automotive when I read the above review from by Guest47289 posted on Aug 3, 2008... I went to the dealership that day and asked Troy to explain the situation. The warranty does not mean that Troy pays for repairs on your car, it simply means that you pay his cost for repairs instead of the outrageous amounts for parts and labor that shops charge average consumers. He explained that with the warranty $130.00 of the $399 DOC fee pays for this service. From my understanding Guest47289 Purchased a Chrystler Sebring with over 100,000 miles on it and refused to pay the DOC fee in return opting out of the warranty. Now anyone who has ever driven a Chrysler Sebring knows, they aren't the most reliable things that Diamler produces. And as the wise in age say- you get what you pay for. What about the door panel he paid for? Did you thank him for that? He didn't have to do it.. Troy would be happy to answer any questions for you. --Happy Honda Owner CM

I found that Troy Hamby Automotive is probably the most honest lot in town. So as for the previous rating goes, you get what you pay for. I love my car and it couldn't have come at a better time for me. I also know that they don't have their cars marked up thousands of dollars to make a pile of profit off of you either. So, if you go to a place and they can afford to slam a new transmission (in your used $5000 car that you bought) than they probably made too much in the beginning anyway.

this man is a lier and a cheat! 2 weeks after I bought a car from this man it starts sputtering. I take it to the mechanic after getting a tune up(new tires new brakes new thermostat alignment the works) and the mechanic says that the transmission and engine are both going bad and I bought a warranty with the car for $130 which later appeared on the contract as a document fee he said he doesn't charge. but he says that its a used car and thats to be expected and that for the money its a very basic warranty even though he told me the warranty covered the engine and transmission! low and behold the car is sitting in the garage engine wont turn over and transmission stuck in first gear, he refuses to pay anything.also while i was waiting another man came in with the same problem bought his car 2 days earlier and wont crank he said. shame. my advice would be to keep driving past this lot without giving him a second glance. unless you want to waste several thousand dollars then go ahead.
