The Madison County Department of Social Services offers community-oriented programs and services with a focus on children, families and people with disabilities. The department provides a spectrum of services that include health care, employment, public and family assistance, child support and enforcement, children s protection and custody, and day and foster care. In addition, it offers legal services, administrative enforcement notices, monitoring for support compliance, and access employment and financial records. The Madison County Department of Social Services also provides screening services related to domestic violence, assessments, referrals and temporary waivers for public assistance requirements. The department maintains an office in Wampsville, N.Y.
