Special Education Law and Special Needs Estate Planning

General Info

My name is James Baron. My law practice is dedicated to improving the lives of special needs children and their families. My focus is on two primary areas: Education Law and Special Needs Estate Planning. In the area of Education Law, I represent students and parents to resolve education-related legal disputes as quickly and inexpensively as possible. I have successfully helped clients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire address a wide variety of school issues, including special education, IEP services and placements, 504 plans, discipline, and bullying. Clients range from pre-Kindergarten through Graduate School. In the area of Special Needs Estate Planning, I help parents to ensure that their children are properly taken care of now and well into the future. My legal training is supplemented by a Master's Degree in Education (M.Ed.), a Massachusetts teaching certificate, and personal experience dealing with the special education system. Because of this experience and interest, I have dedicated the majority of my practice to helping students with special needs and their families. My many years of advocating on behalf of my own child allow me to offer empathy, guidance and understanding that can only come from such personal experience. I look forward to helping you.
