This church has been a huge blessing to me since I moved to Watertown in 2005. If you want to experience the love of Jesus in a tangible way the way I did when my family was struggling with ongoing health issues, this is the place for you! If you want solid teaching that does not compromise on the Bible's truth or relevance in a changing culture, this is the place for you!

This is an excellent Bible-believing Evangelical Free church which seeks to live out its faith daily. We seek to make disciples for Jesus here and around the world. It has offered free English classes to immigrants for decades, helps the poor in the area, and ministers to Native Americans in South Dakota in one of the poorest parts of the country. The pastor has worked at a psychiatric hospital in the past and has helped out there. If you're looking for a church committed to living for Jesus, come check us out.

Excellent Bible-believing Church

This is a strong Bible-believing Evangelical Free church which seeks to live out its faith day-to-day. We seek to reach out to those who are seeking God, through the Gospel, and to build up those who are believers in the faith already- Win, Build, Send. The church has offered free English classes to immigrants for decades. It helps out homeless and low income people in the area. It ministers to Native Americans in South Dakota in one of the poorest areas of the country. It also gives thousands of dollars to the poor overseas. The Pastor has worked at a local psychiatric hospital in the past, helping out the people there.

This Church Discriminates Against The Mentally Disabled

I attended this church about a decade ago. Nobody in this church would talk to me because I have an autistic spectrum disorder & cannot work, therefore I don't have a lot of money. The people of this church judged me & discriminated against me because of this. They ignored me & said mean things about me behind my back. In fact a woman from the church named Lyn Buckley told me that she heard some of the women of the church say disrespectful things about me & Lyn didn't stick up for me because she was just as snobby & unchristian as the rest of them. What would Jesus think. The people of this church worship money instead of worshipping Jesus. They only care how much money their members have & about the things of this world, the very things the Bible tells you not to worship. I will leave you with a direct quote from the Bible as food for thought about this matter.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some have coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Timothy 6:10

I attended this Church a decade ago. I found out the hard way that the members of this Church are not very friendly to people with mental disabilities who are not able to work. As soon as my poor verbal skills due to my autistic spectrum disorder became apparent to the people of this Church they stopped talking to me. They shunned me. And when the snobby members of this Church held social events I was the only one who didn't get invited because of my mental problems. Also a former member of this Church named Lyn Buckley told me that some of the women of the Church were saying disrespectful things about me behind my back. Not very Christian. What would Jesus think. Someday all the members of this Church are going to have to answer to God about the appalling way they treated a poor mentally disabled woman.
