Located in Walnut Grove, Ala., West End High School is a part of Etowah County School System. Established in 1966, the high school conducts classes in language arts, mathematics, history and science. It also provides lessons in foreign language and music. In addition, it offers classes in physical education. The school serves students with learning disabilities through its special services. It also manages a distance learning program and organizes various extracurricular activities. The school s athletic activities include baseball, basketball, football, softball, volleyball and cheerleading. West End High School offers food services and provides breakfast and lunch to students. Additionally, it operates a music band and offers opportunities to participate in music-related events.
