Ybarra Elementary School offers education to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Its academic curriculum includes reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music and fine arts. The school also provides special education, nonenglish proficient, and gifted and talented programs for students with special needs. Additionally, it offers community education programs in a range of areas that includes cookery, dance, income tax preparation, technology, floral design, fitness and golf. Founded in 1965, Ybarra Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 400 students. The school is a part of the Rowland Unified School District and is located in Walnut, Calif.
