James H. Moran Middle School offers various educational programs to strengthen emphasis on important concepts from subject to subject and identify and meet the individual academic and adjustment needs of students throughout the many physical and emotional changes they face in the middle school years. The middle school s curriculum introduces various new subjects, including world languages, cooking and technology workshops. Significantly expanded offerings in art and music also begin at this level. The school offers information technology resource teachers and teachers for exceptionally gifted and talented students. Interscholastic sports activities are also offered, including cross country, boys and girls basketball, baseball, softball, and boys and girls track and field. Other organized after school activities and clubs offer students the chance to acquire or strengthen skills in various areas, including cooking, arts and crafts, karate, drama, games and a selection of intramural sports. Young musicians and singers can join chorus, or one or more bands. James H. Moran Middle School is located in Wallingford, Conn.
