For those of you that are not familiar with the Foglight Foodhouse, this is a wonderful restaurant that is quietly nestled in the hills of Rock Island State Park. It is one of the most well kept secrets in the area. There is an array of entrees to choose from and they are reasonably priced. The ambiance is that of a quaint riverside cabin with a quirky nautical theme. There is a wrap around porch which adds to its charm. We enjoyed a fine selection of quality meals and will return. Our party of eight was quickly seated, yet we were given time to savor our appetizers and socialize before and after our dinners arrived. Well done Chef Philpot!
