Called Thursday during heat wave that air conditioner was not working. Advised that 70 year old with asthma resides at address. Was put on emergency list and was told to stay by phone because if not answered you would lose place on list. It is now Monday and after many calls still have not been contacted.

Have to say I was surprised to see the bad reviews here because NJR has always provided me excellent service under contract for my gas appliances and air conditioning However , I do have a complaint . A friend got a whole house generator before the hurricane for $7200 , now they are quoting $12000 and up for the same system . Looks like price gouging to me .

Called on a Sunday because air conditioning was not working, daughter has asthma so they said they would give me priority. Called back on Monday to follow up during the three day heat wave, was told they could not say when they would be here. Send my daughter to stay with a friend. The following Saturday I called them, they said they don't understand why no one has been out to us yet. Will send someone Sunday. Not exactly prompt service.

Their customer service is the worst. I paid $2500 for a tankless heater less than a year ago and today I have no hot water which is pretty infuriating in itself. I put in for a service call and they set up an appointment for the technician to come out at any time during the day between first thing in the morning and 8 pm tonight!!!! Outrageous that they will not provide a window of time. All that money spent on their heater and I have to sit here all day and wait for them not knowing when they will come. Perhaps they don't realize people have lives. In summary, they need to re-think thier service plans.
This company is not customer friendly, I had no heat on a Friday evening, an evening that was going to be 40 degree and the CSR said okay we can send someone out on Sunday, Yes Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you find something wrong with this answer?
