We moved to the Waldport area June of 2004. We have always shopped at Ray's so we were unpleasantly surprised at the poor service from the Meat department at the Waldport store. We follow the ads and have tried to buy fish and crab on sale and we are always told they do not have the item, because of the bad weather, the fishermen could not get out.......The last ad we got a rain check for crab over Christmas and when we noticed they finally had some we were told they would not accept our rain check because management told them not to accept any of the rain checks given out for crab. We understand the reasons why sometimes sale items in the fresh fish and meat department cannot be gotten but for us this is consistent at the Waldport Ray's. We have noticed the day after the sale is over all of a sudden the item is in, but at a higher price. We have talked to the local management regarding this problem and have gotten no satisfaction. We have been told ALL the reasons why this happens.
