Kung Fu Academy offers, self defense training for children and adults. The instructors are experts in martial arts and very patient with all students. The students train hard to perfect their skills. The curriculum inspires, self confidence, commitment, perseverance, concentration and motivation. The school teaches the Tien Shan Pai system but uses contemporary techniques, forms and weapons sparring and physical conditioning, exercise, and street combat drills. Its also the ONLY KUNG FU school in Waldorf. Come on down and check it out. It is also a before and after school day care, it has aerobics and Zumba classes, come on in or call for details.

The before and after care program is a scam. The kids sit idle in the floor with nothing to do but watch tv for hours. There is no structure, no kung fu classes and this place isn't licensed. They make you sign a 9 month contract and won't let you get out of the contract despite the fact that they have no program. This place is a parents nightmare - my son is 5. Trust me- send your babies elsewhere. Charles County is trying to shut them down.

I have 2 kids in the little cubs program and they both love it. All the instructors are patient with the kids and you can tell they genuinely love teaching.

The summer camp program is so awesome! My son (7 yrs old) has such a good time. He isn't the easiest kid to please so they must be doing something right! Very nice staff, lots of activities and a LOT of fun activities for the kids. Great prices too!
