Provided by YP.comThis is the perfect example of poor customer service; and incompetent staff! Ordered & paid for a range; took two attempts &2 weeks to get a response. Spoke with 2 different managers on two separate days regarding the process & the standard response was the system has not been updated; it takes 24 hours for the system to update. Well in this case it has been 48 hours & still no resolution. This company can process a purchase in minutes but it takes days to correct their error! Never again

Provided by YP.comI go to this BestBuy often because it is very convenient for me but if i didn't have such a busy schedule I would definitely drive all the way to annapolis to go to a nicer one. The staff are rude and slow and look miserable all the time. I almost always feel like an inconvenience.

Provided by YP.comSo all I wanted was to check whether or not they had a laptop cord before I drove all the way there from my location. The first time I called, I chose the prompt to speak to a sale's associate, the phone just rang. I hung up and called back, this time choosing the prompt for the geek squad. The guy who answered the phone had no clue what I was talking about and said let me transfer you to our computer dept. (Geek Squad member but doesn't know anything about laptop cords????) So I got transferred and AGAIN, no answer. It's a waste of time to call and attempt to get any information over the phone. They don't answer and if they DO answer, they have no clue what they're talking about.

Provided by YP.comI first went into the store to get an estimate on a security system installation for my Magnum. Was told $249.00 for a Viper 350. Next day I called the store to setup appointment and again asked for an estimate. I was asked a few questions about my car and was quoted $239.00 and would take 2-4 hours. Next day I went back to the store to see if they had an appointment cancellation in hopes they could install this day. No cancells, but this tech asked what kind of car. I told him the same thing I told the tech from when I called the store...however, this tech says that I need an additional part that would cost $99, plus $29 for something and $5 for trash fee. Or they could install without the $99 part which would only be $85 and the $5 trash fee. The $249.00 cost plus these other costs. So now I'm looking at $249 plus $99 plus $29 plus $5 equals $385.00. OR $249.00 plus $85 plus $5 equals $340. I have not decided to keep my appointment or jerk them around and just not show up. I thought the No Name Store was trying to cheat me but NO, it's the Name Brand Store that run game. The other guy was straight up and said $400.00.
One of the most important things to me, personally, when i shop is the courtesy(or lack there-of). That being said, i have nothing to complain about with this store. Whatever they don't have, they will always tell me where to get it, which is rare in the first place because they generally have what i come to get. I have no horror stories from shopping at this Best Buy store.
