Berry Elementary School is located in Waldorf, Md., and is a part of Charles County Public Schools. Opened in 1996, it enrolls more than 700 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has language arts, mathematics, science and social studies departments. Berry Elementary School additionally offers programs in art, reading, writing, music and physical education. Its staff is comprised of speech therapists, psychologists and guidance counselors. The school offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program and gifted and talented education. In addition, Berry Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that organizes several fundraising events. It also publishes a newsletter.
