South Kingstown High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes programs in English, mathematics, science, social studies and business education. The school additionally has music, unified arts, foreign language, and health and physical education departments. South Kingstown High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, cross country, volleyball, football, tennis, field hockey, basketball, wrestling, swimming, gymnastics, baseball, golf, lacrosse, softball, and track and field. Its extracurricular activities include computer programming competitions, National Honor Society and student council, as well as yearbook, gardening, dance, drama, sailing, robotics and multicultural clubs. In addition, the school operates a college planning center that provides financial, academic and career counseling services. The school is located in Wakefield, R.I., and is a part of South Kingstown Schools.
