we haven't been to c. italia in a while but after seeing a review on tv diner we decided to return. while we already liked the food, it certainly has improved. all our meals and drinks were fine, and the dessert we all shared was yummy. You can tell they put effort into using the freshest ingredients. But, it seems like the owner hasn't dealt with his cranky, abrupt, and overly aggressive waiter. He's the same one we had last year and made a very good food experience less so because of his attitude. Someone mentioned that he's a family member so I guess he's there to stay. Too bad.Overall we had a fine experience. Next time we'll be sure to ask for a different waiter.The bus service needs some refinement. It's slow and a bit unattentive.Of course we love the ambiance there. Medium size, cozy, relatively quiet with good music. without that waiter we might have gone to 5 stars
