• Art Lesson Consultation
  Before you sign your child up for a series of art lessons, we want to meet with you and your child to determine how we can customize a lesson plan. The initial meeting will allow your child to meet the instructor and discuss what they like and what they would like to learn. This consultation takes about 15-20 minutes. Bring with you current samples of art and some ideas of what your child would like to learn.

  Yes! We offer value priced field trips for your school, after care, 4H or home school group. Come to our studio for a complete experience (arrange for a kiln room and studio tour, or we can come to your site) Lots of project options available with a budget in mind.Instruction can be personalized for your group. Project options are offered at the discretion of the instructor and are determined by age and ability of students. Our selection of pottery items varies. If you know you would like a particular item for a group, a special order can be made prior to your event-- We require pre-payment for all special orders. • Wheel Throwing for Beginners
  Always wanted to try out wheel throwing? Perfect for the busy person, who has always wanted to try wheel throwing, but can't commit to a 8 week class. No prior experience or tools are needed. Your lesson includes around 45 minutes of one on one supervised wheel time.Our instructor will walk you step by step through the process. You will create two items (usually bowls, but you can try for a vase too!)Your projects must be dried and fired and will be ready for glazing in about 2-3 weeks.  Your fee includes all instruction, clay, 2 firings and glazing.Children are able to take lessons but must be at least 7 years old. Reservations must be made at least 1 week in advance. We only have one studio wheel, so lessons are always one on one. • Clay Wheel Birthday Party (deposit only)
  Wheel parties are for kids ages 8 and up and a Maximum of 4 participants (we only have one wheel so each child will take a turn on the wheelProject Cost$29.95 per personParty Length 2 hoursEach student will take a turn on the wheel and will make 2 wheel thrown items (usually bowls) While they wait, they will work on making a small sculpture project. • Drawing and paint art lessons
  Our staff instructor works with your child on an individual basis. We will look at their current skills and help them learn new skills to take them to the next level artistically. Sometimes it's learning how to add background, dimension, texture or improving on the use of a particular art medium. Most lessons are given on an individual bases and by appointment only. Please note we offer group pricing for girl scouts and boy scouts, please check our listings for those programs. Lesson fee includes one on one instruction with instructor, materials are extra and vary from $5-$10.

• Rent some time on our pottery wheel
  Have you used a pottery wheel in the past but haven't had access to a wheel or kiln? If it has been less than 3 years since your last throwing experience, we offer rental time on our wheel. If it's been more than 3 years, you may want to take a refresher class, and then you can rent wheel time anytime. All we ask is you show us some of your skills prior to use (takes about 10 minutes and we will even provide you with the clay!) We only have one wheel, so rental is for one person. If you would like to bring a friend, we allow that, but each person pays a rental fee. Clay, firing and glazing is all purchased separately and is based on what you make. 

• Brownie Legacy Painting Badge (Session 1 of 2)
  This two session class will bring your Brownie's through all the steps they need to earn their complete Legacy Artist Painting badge. Sessions are about 2 hours long for each. • Clay Sculpting Art Lessons
  Everybody clay, and we love showing YOU what you can make. We offer individual clay sculpting instruction to just about anyone! • Create your own glass class (deposit only)
  In our create your own glass class we will teach you how to cut, nip, and alter glass pieces so you can create your own unique glass item. Your class fee of $10 for plates or $5 for all other items is due AT REGISTRATIONThe project fee is due the day of your class.Times are available during most of our open studio times (click on the calendar to the left to see open dates and times)We will customize the class to your ideas and interests. You just need 4 people to make up a class. Click on project photos to see pricing for each project. Please note photographs are examples of projects created in our studio, your group will be able to create your own designs from the instruction you receive in your class.

  This class is designed for beginners or those who have had some prior glass experience but want a little more. This class is suitable for adults and kids who are at least 12 years old.In this class you will learn to cut, create textures, add lines, embellishments and designs to make a cute 5X5 fused glass formed plate. Plates can be used for food when finished. All supplies and materials are included!
