Located in Waco, Texas, Provident Heights Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of the Waco Independent School District, which has a total enrollment of more than 15,000 students in over 30 educational institutions. It provides academic services to nearly 400 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Provident Heights Elementary School has a staff of approximately 30 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals. The school organizes several extracurricular programs, such as singing choir competitions, community service activities and after-school accelerated instruction sessions. It also offers classes in gifted and talented education, bilingual teaching and accelerated reader program, as well as the English as a Second language program.
