Recreation & Community Service Office, of the city of Vista, Calif., offers camp programs to help young people relax, have fun, make new friends, and learn new skills. The program offers a variety of specialty programming, extended care, healthy snacks, and field trips at low cost. In addition, it provides camp T-shirts, Friday fun day activities, and lunch. A lunch and snack is provided for by the Vista Unified School District Nutrition Services free of charge. The aim of organizing the camp is to provide each child with the opportunities to develop creative skills, strengthen physical skills, and have positive interactions through group activities with peers. The students also learn the importance of sportsmanship and fair play.
