Divisadero Middle School, located in Visalia, Calif., offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades seven and eight. The school is affiliated with the Visalia Unified School District, and offers various programs, such as English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. It also provides language arts and special education programs, and implements the individuals with disabilities education act. Divisadero Middle School also works with the California master plan for special education to provide a free public education according to the student s special needs. The school also offers designated instructional services, which supplement regular classroom instruction, to regular attendance in a special day class.
