Located in Visalia, Calif., Central Valley Regional Center is a private, nonprofit corporation funded by the state of California to provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The center offers a wide variety of services, such as diagnostic evaluations, case management, client advocacy and lifetime planning. It also makes arrangement for various services, including specialized medical treatment, dental and psychological tests, physical therapy, infant development programs, specialized education and 24-hour residential care. Its services also include vocational rehabilitation, sheltered workshops, respite and day care, activity programs, genetic counseling, and independent and supported living services. The Central Valley Regional Center serves various regions in San Joaquin Valley, including Fresno, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Tulare counties in California.
