Vernon Area Rehabilitation Center, founded in 1977, provides a wide range of rehabilitation services to more than 200 clients in 17 counties. The center s services include physical, speech, occupational and language therapies. It also offers a wide range of residential services that include health and medication monitoring, housekeeping, finances, shopping, daily living skills, and personal hygiene and socialization skills programs. Vernon Area Rehabilitation Center has contracts with more than 30 companies and provides various assembly and packaging services. It also offers a variety of programs in residential and supported employment services. The center provides day services, including social activities, and academics and community living programs. Its community-based employment services include evaluation work adjustment training, school-to-work transition and placement. Vernon Area Rehabilitation Center is located in Viroqua, Wis.
