My review is a big fat ZERO. Had an appointment for them to come out and they never showed up. No phone call, nothing. I called their office and left 2 messages and still did not get a call back. No way to run a business

I had service from the Log Doc during the "busy season" and couldn't be happier. Tommy and Dave were very friendly, and went to work promptly. They were on time and fixed my problem efficiently and in a short time. They also gave me a "military discount." I'll be calling them again.

It's pretty obvious that Mr. Achenbach did not take nor attend any training or classes related to customer service. We had 24" logs in our fireplace to start with. Prior to installing 18" new gas logs in my home, the technician assured me that if my wife or I did not like the smaller length logs, they could be switched-out for longer ones for about $60.00. I paid the technician in full. Called Mr. Achenbach the next day telling him that my wife and I would prefer the longer logs. He asked me to call back in about 10 days to schedule an appointment for resolving this due to being very busy. Called back 10 days later, and every 4 or 5 days for four weeks...leaving a message each time, but no one answered nor returned my calls. FINALLY spoke to Mr. Achenbach a month after my logs were installed. He was very cocky, arrogant, and rude stating "what was he going to do with used logs?" A shoe-string budget company, LIES TO YOU, takes your money and treats you like SH_ _. BEWARE !!!

Log Doc fixed my gas fireplace and helped me with my grill. They arrived on time and took time to explain the problem to me. I will be using them for my yearly service for the duration. Thanks Log Doc!!

We were very happy with the service, they came out on a Sunday at no extra charge! The two technicians gave us lots of advice on how to safely and efficiently run our fireplace and we look forward to using this company again. (This was the first time we had needed our fireplace serviced in 14 years and really didn't know what to expect.)

Tidewaters Log Doc fixed my problem after another company told me I would need a new set of gas logs. They are great and I just want to spread the word!
