Founded in 1992, Tallwood High School is operated by the Virginia Beach City Public Schools and offers enrollment to more than 1,800 students in grades nine through 12. It organizes various events, such as prom, homecoming, Christmas dance, Valentine s dance, and Mr. and Miss Tallwood High School. It also offers participation in a wide range of activity clubs and organizations, including band, choir, chorus, drama, stage crew, student council, National Honor Society, class council and cheerleading. The school offers various games and sports, such as soccer, basketball, track, tennis, softball, baseball, golf, volleyball, wrestling, swimming and cross country. The school s curriculum includes classes in English, math, music, science, foreign languages and social studies. Tallwood High School is located in Virginia Beach, Va.
