- In the Vocal department, PPAA offers private one-on-one training in the Classical, Musical Theater and New Age genres of music, which focus on the fundamentals of singing, as well as technique training, repertoire building, audition etiquette, theory, diction, and the overall growth and maturity of the students voice. In the Instrumental department we will offer private lessons featuring, Percussion, Piano, Bass, Acoustic, and Electric Guitar focusing on theory, muscle memory, major ,minor and pentatonic chords, key signatures, the fundamentals, repertoire building, audition etiquette and the overall fullness and maturity of the student's instrumental skills and talent. For both the Vocal and Instrumental department sight reading classes aimed at improving the students ability to play and/or sing music efficiently at a glance will be offered. This widen the space to learn music at a faster pace leaving more room for fine tuning and technique application. This also builds great confidence and is extremely beneficial during and after grade school. We will also offer Theory classes which teach students chord progressions, and helps them to understand the notes in a chord providing a strong learning base to use with any song. In the Dance department, PPAA provides classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Point, focusing on basic and contemporary techniques, flexibility, strength, etiquette, memorization skills, placement, precision and artistry.

Premium quality training for the Fine Arts industry. Dance, Vocal, Instrumental, Theatrical, and Visual Arts training. Pre - Advanced level Classes, Private Lessons, Workshops and More! Passions Performing Arts Academy is one of the highest quality, and most well-rounded academies in the Virginia Beach area. PPAA offers premium quality training for the Performing Arts through affordable, and highly effective private lessons, classes, workshops, master classes and more ranging from Pre (3-5) and Beginner levels to Advanced and Semi- Pro levels. At Passions, our students have the convenience of being able to train and build applicable knowledge in Dance, the Vocal, Instrumental, Theatrical, and Visual Arts all within the same well equipped location and academy. PPAA will be opening this August in the Virginia Beach area. Enrollment will start July 15th for the fall season! PPAA offers class packages that allow students to save more money, the more classes they take. Classes purchased during the school season are to be purchased between the 1st and the 5th of every month, lessons may be purchased as necessary or monthly. All active students will be provided the opportunity to Perform or showcase their art work in our seasonal recitals which will be held in some of the many surrounding Hampton Roads concert halls, Schools, and Churches. Recital participants are only required to be active students at the academy. This means that they are attending private lessons or classes at least once a week and have done so for a minimum of one month. Through performing, students are compelled to overcome stage fright, develop showmanship and artistry, and gain many more qualities necessary for a well-rounded, entertaining performer.
