I would have to say, I love this spot. The bugs are bad at night, best to get a cabin.lol. But this place was the only place I could bring my pitbull, other places descrimanate with pitbulls. Im married with 4 kids, we loved it. Swimming, fishing, camp fires...its great! This will be are summer spot for years to come.

I have been to North Landing Beach several times over the last 5-6 years with Scouts and have had a great time. My most recent trip however was my last. There was confusion over where the group was to camp and we never recieved a code card to open the gate which was a bit of a pain. The bath house was the dirtiest I have ever seen it- 2 of 3 showers and one of the toilet stalls in the women's side were out of order and one of the sinks was stopped up from the time we arrived until after we left. The deep sink near our site was very habdy but looked as if hadn't been cleaned in weeks and the dumpster was overflowing. Additionally, the cost for the Scouts has increased dramatically (doubled for Cub Scout/parent pair) making it too expensive when compared to other campgrounds in the area. On the upside, the 2 staff members camped beside us were very nice and helpful when we needed a pass card and the staff member who brought us our wood for our campfire was also very nice.
