- Medical Weight LossWhether it is through diet and exercise or weight loss surgery, many individuals feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment after losing a great deal of weight. However, massive weight loss can leave behind sagging skin and fat on various parts of their bodies. This can leave people feeling self-conscious about the overall appearance of their bodies and may also cause a sense of embarrassment.
- Pregnancy
- Labor and DeliveryChildbirth stretches the vaginal canal and surrounding tissue. The vagina can mostly be repaired by the body’s own healing response. With many women, however, the tissue may not return to the same state as before childbirth. This stretching damages the vaginal walls, perineum and surrounding tissue, which often leads to diminished vaginal health.
- UltrasoundVaricose veins develop when an increase in pressure in the veins of the legs causes dilation and bulging. This process is accelerated in patients with a family history of varicose veins and people who stand to work all day long, and it is more common in females. The reason why females are at greater risk for developing varicose veins is that certain hormones that are present in greater amounts in women, particularly during pregnancy, cause a change in the veins that weaken them and make them more susceptible to dilation. The results of these bulging, dilated veins are pain, swelling, achiness, restlessness, itching, and discomfort. For many people, the symptoms are assumed to just be the results of getting older. It is also common for patients to not realize just what is going on. In some patients, the veins are blue and bulging, and in others, they are more subtle. The way to diagnose the presences of dilated veins and the reflux of blood flow, which is the hallmark of venous disease, is to conduct a non-invasion ultrasound exam. During a consultation, Dr. Mancoll will review your health history and evaluate the areas of concern. He will also discuss the varicose vein procedure and help you decide if treatment is right for you.
- ChemotherapyAfter the initial breast surgery, there most likely will be some secondary procedures, either as part of the plan or as a result of the patient desiring additional symmetry and form. The timing of the surgeries will vary based on what other adjuvant therapies (chemotherapy and radiation) the patient may need.

- HysterectomyMenopause and other events such as a hysterectomy, chemotherapy, or activities like breast-feeding, may lead to reduced estrogen production by the ovaries and often leads to thinning and drying of the vaginal walls. For many women this may decrease healthy vaginal function.

- Brow LiftThis drooping typically causes one to look tired and even disinterested. These are the patients that might benefit from having a brow lift procedure.

- Breast AugmentationA breast augmentation is a surgical procedure that can increase the fullness of the breasts and improve their symmetry using saline or silicone gel implants.
- Breast ReductionA male who finds that he is unhappy with the look and shape of his breasts would potentially be a candidate for male breast reduction surgery. However, since male breast growth is associated with hormonal changes, before any surgery is considered Dr. Mancoll would want to explore whether there is a medical reason that has caused breast growth. A physical exam and simple laboratory studies can help to determine this. In addition, the patient should be close to his ideal body weight and have realistic expectations.
- Breast LiftA breast lift, or “mastopexy,” removes excess tissue while reshaping the breasts and elevating them to a more attractive position. In most cases, the areola (dark skin around the nipple) will also be reduced.
- RhinoplastyMancoll Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery is the only practice in the area that uses the advanced VECTRA 3D imaging system to provide our patients with the most complete education possible regarding their plastic surgery procedures. Using this system, we take a three-dimensional (3D) photograph of the patient prior to surgery. Then, using VECTRA’s software simulation tools, we can create 3D representations. This allows the patient the opportunity to preview various surgical options and decide on the procedure that best suits his or her personal goals. VECTRA 3D is used for breast augmentations, breast lifts, body contouring, rhinoplasty, chin augmentations, and more. The entire process takes only a few minutes, and the patient will have the opportunity to review the results during his or her initial consultation. At that time, alternative simulations can be requested to be sure the patient is comfortable with the recommended surgical plan.
- Breast ReconstructionBreast reconstruction really is a process. Dr. Mancoll takes great pride in personally helping to guide eachone of his patients through not only their breast reconstruction but also their treatment of breast cancer in general.

- Thigh LiftA thigh lift is an operation that is designed to improve the contour of a woman’s upper legs. For most patients, thigh lifts can restore a more pleasing contour between a patient’s buttocks and legs. For many patients, the contour concerns may be as simple as addressing isolated areas of extra skin or fat. Here, the minimally invasive Smartlipo or Cellulaze laser technology may be enough. However, for those patients who require a greater excess of skin and/or fat removed, then a more involved lifting operation may be needed. So whether your problem is with saddlebags that just don’t seem to go away or loose skin of the thighs, after a thorough consultation with Dr. Mancoll, he will be able to advise you of the best options for your desired look.
- Face LiftTo eliminate these imperfections and restore a youthful facial appearance, many individuals desire facelift surgery. Also known as a rhytidectomy, this procedure can make a person appear noticeably more youthful. Additionally, it can make the face and neck seem much slimmer and a person appear more rested.
- Neck LiftIdeal candidates for a neck lift are individuals in good physical and emotional health. All smoking and anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin, should be discontinued before surgery to decrease the likelihood of complications arising. Candidates should have realistic expectations about the outcome of their results.

- Nose Surgery
- Body LiftThis procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis; however, for most patents, it will include an overnight stay. It requires general anesthesia and can take between 4 and 6 hours. Factors, including the patient’s size and how much extra skin and fat he or she has, will affect how long the surgery is. To achieve the maximum results, a lower body lift can be done in conjunction with liposculpturing of the lower back, hips, and/or buttock.
- Breast SurgeryThe development of breast implants has been enhancing the lives of millions of women since the early 1960s. Whether women choose breast implants for cosmetic or reconstructive means, the use of implants has allowed plastic surgeons to create beautiful breast shape and form. But like many other man-made devices, sooner or later breast implants may need to be replaced. Revisionary breast surgery takes a special and unique understanding. As a surgeon who has performed thousands of reconstructive breast procedures, Dr. Mancoll understands what it takes to revise a breast, whether it’s needed as a result of surgery that has not given the patient the outcome she desired or because the breasts have otherwise changed in an unsatisfactory way over time.
- OtoplastyWhen a person’s ears are one of his or her most distinctive features, it can sometimes leave him or her feeling self-conscious. Many patients are surprised to find out that there is a simple outpatient procedure to return the ears to a more normal position. Otoplasty is a surgery for both younger and older patients alike.
- Scar Revision
- Body ContouringBody contouring can offer great results for patients who find that certain areas of their bodies are resistant to diet and exercise or have changed over time.
- Laser ResurfacingThe cost of treatment depends on the amount of injectable filler needed to correct the desired areas. Injectable fillers may be your only treatment or just one component of a more comprehensive treatment plan to help you look younger and more refreshed. Fillers are frequently combined with Botox treatment designed to combat dynamic wrinkles. Additionally, skin resurfacing treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser resurfacing can be added to help achieve an all-over youthful appearance. After a consultation, Dr. Mancoll or Erin Dietel, PA-C, aesthetic injector, will be able to determine the cost based on what you are looking to achieve.
- GynecomastiaMale breast enlargement is a condition also referred to as gynecomastia. It is very common for teenage boys to have some degree of male breast enlargement. Approximately 60% of teenage boys will outgrow this at some point in their early 20s. For others, breast enlargement will progress over time, with increases in weight as well as hormonal changes. For some, male breast enlargement can be the result of taking certain medications or excess consumption of alcohol and other recreational drugs. Multiple treatment options are available to reduce the size of male breasts and get a more normal chest wall contour.
- Cosmetic SurgeryDr. Mancoll utilizes the latest in cosmetic surgery technology designed with the need for less anesthetic. Therefore, many procedures can now be performed with oral sedation and numbing medicine. However, for those patients who are anxious or require a greater degree of sedation, board-certified anesthesiologists are available to assist. Dr. Mancoll will help determine the degree of sedation necessary for comfort and safety.
