In a quest to improve physical therapy treatment in the region, Dr. Tracy Hernandez developed her own innovative treatment strategy and opened the doors to Innovative Therapy & Wellness in 2001. Since then she has been helping people heal well, move well, and live well. Her concept was to provide one-on-one, full-hour treatment sessions with a licensed physical therapist who would focus on identifying the source of the pain…not just treat the symptoms. Unlike the average facility consisting of therapist aides and technicians, Innovative Therapy & Wellness only employs licensed physical therapists with advanced clinical knowledge and skills. Their reputation for successful outcomes when dealing with complex cases has allowed them to grow largely by patient referral. Today, Innovative Therapy & Wellness is an integrated physical therapy and wellness practice with a team of multidisciplinary professionals dedicated to helping others enhance their health and well-being. Their programs include wellness visits, massage therapy, Pilates, personal training, and nutritional counseling, each individualized for all ages and abilities. I was a patient of a therapist with Innovative Therapy about a year ago. She was fantastic. The administrative staff leaves alot to be desired. They are curt, aggressive, loud and frankly sometimes rude. I went back to this facility because of the positive experience I had had with the previous therapist. The Friday after Thanksgiving, I got a call that they had an opening and I could come in if I wanted. I told them no, I did not have time and had my day planned already. I presented for my scheduled appt. and was promptly notified that since I did not accept that available appt. it would count as a missed appt and it would be $100 missed appt fee. This is a racket. I will not be returning.

Knowledgeable. They strive to heal you and they do it good. I have a friend who for 7 years had an incurable condition and had gone to innumerable places until she found Innovative Therapy & Wellness.
