I've been there several times over the past few years but today was not happy with the customer service. I was told that late appointments (5pm) required a deposit. That was a first, but cool because it protects against no shows. I get that and understand. I requested the website information to pay the deposit and received no response. I called no response. I texted back requesting the information or for the owner to call over 4 hours ago. No response, but the text messages show as read. I will not force anyone to take my money. It's obvious that they don't need my business. I've booked with another braid shop that is a little more expensive only because Braid Lounge has a special going on this month. I would rather pay more than to be treated as if my business isn't valuable.

I went to the shop on March 3, 2014. First I must say I called to inform them I would b late to my 800am appointment. With the storm coming daycare was an issue. Since the shop provided hair I didn't purchase any and told them I want my micros with multiple colors with the deep bulk they had on supply. ONE of the braiders informed me that the brand in stock had began reviews and I should go with the wet and wavy. I absolutely dislike that wave so I told her I appreciate their honesty and I rather go to a hair store. It was still early so I had to wait 30 minutes plus for a supply store to open. It didn't open in time n I decided to just go with Senegalese twist and return to the shop because time was of the essence. When she started my hair About 30-45 minutes in I asked her how long? She informed me about 4 hours which would have put me at 230pmish...upon making my original appointment I told them I need multiple braiders due to the thickness of my hair. Needless to say I did have 1 extra braiders but they barely worked on my hair at the same time. So I left the shop sometime after 5pm which put me at about 8 hours. And I missed an appointment that I told her I had before she started. They left alot of extra hair on ends also. But the place was beautiful and outside and professional. But when you give me a time and you have the people I expect more! The crazy thing is if they would have done the work in the amount of time quoted u was willing to tip extremely well. -Tiffani

Been going here for a while and always have a good experience....great braiders.

Tried for second time to give them a try. I was really disappointed the second time. I wouldn't suggest you let them do your hair. I have had my hair braided many times and this was the worst expensive experience I've had.

I got my hair done at The Braid Lounge, and I ABSOLUTELY Loved it!!! Great Customer Service! Finally, a Braid shop where people act professional!! All I can say is WOW!!! ILL BE BACK..... THE BRAID LOUNGE IS THE SPOT TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMENDED.....

I had great exerience! The ladies did a beautiful job on my Micros and had me out of there in no time! The salon is really, really nice and cozy as well! Best best braid shop I've ever been to!
