Good quality great price I saved Money shopping at j & d and I love my furniture

Well, here is another review about J&D's HORRIBLE customer service. We ordered a bedroom set, but when it was delivered, it was not the one we ordered. When we initially ordered our set, we asked for one model. When the furniture was delivered, we noticed that it was not the set we asked for. We went to J&D personally to explain what happen and even showed them a picture of what we had ordered, they said that they will would a manager contact us the following business day. Of course, we received NO phone call from any manager. I had to call them and ask for the manager. The manager stated that the person that helped us wrote the correct model number. When we had first went to the store to pick out the bedroom, we showed the sales person which set we wanted and she STILL WROTE DOWN THE WRONG MODEL NUMBER. Now, the manager stated that we can not get an exchange. We did submit a complaint through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and hopefully they will have better luck.

I wish I would have read the reviews first before I purchase my furniture. The wait is horrible but finally received my furniture....will never again!

Finally received my couch from J & D. Received a good price on the couch with cheap delivery, and the delivery men were professional, but those were the only positives. My main complaint is the customer service. I paid for the couch up front and was told it would be delivered in 3-5 weeks. After 6 weeks, they said the couch is made and waiting on the truck for more orders. During the next two weeks I made several phone calls that were never returned. No one seemed to know anythying about where my couch was. Finally, more than 9 weeks after I ordered, I called one last time to find the couch was at J&D. (Still, no one ever called me.) Originally, I was told they would give me a 3 day range for delivery. In reality, they gave me one date and could not guarantee a time. I had to take time off of work in order to be home. After everything, I am happy with the product, but if they had told me up front that it would have taken this long, I would have taken my buisness elsewhere.

This Company is horrible. I ordered 3 bedroom sets and 2 out of 3 were wrong. I ordered Bassett & Lang Furniture and they sent me some Signature Furniture & Discovery Furniture made in Vietnam for crying out loud. Its the old bait & switch. My furniture was delivered on July 2 08, mattress was wrong, told would be delivered W/O 7/14, yeah right, now 1 set is to be delivered W/O 7/21/08, mattress.... The promise you the world & can not deliver..STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They show you pictures of beautiful furniture, you order it & they switch it to what they have in stock that is similar in style & color. Customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!! I was told the difference between Bassett Furniture & signature was 160.00, so im getting a refund of 160.00, yippee... My lawyer is going to eat them alive.
