Dr. Adjoa Hanson is a board-certified internal medicine physician at DeTar Medical Group -- Family & Internal Medicine. Dr. Hanson completed her medical degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, prior to an internship and residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York, NY. Dr. Hanson focuses on the specialized medical care of adults, age 18 and over, with a special interest in the care of the elderly patient, from changes that occur with the natural process of aging to managing multiple medical problems and how these issues may affect her patients' ability to manage the demands of day-to-day living. She is accepting new patients.
