General Info
The new Seneca Art & Culture Center is an interactive, interpretive facility at Ganondagan telling the story of the Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) contributions to art, culture and society for more than 2,000 years to the present day. The gift shop features beautiful Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) art, jewelry, basketry, clothing, and our heirloom Iroquois White Corn products. A 17th-century bark longhouse replica (open May- Oct) reflects the life of the Seneca people who once lived here. Three marked ethno-botanical and historical trails invite you to walk and learn more about us. Heirloom gardens and fields of native grasses are contemporary reminders of the land's origins. Our festivals and special events share the culture of our people through dance, music, arts, sports, storytelling and other Iroquois traditions. Visit Ganondagan to discover the living culture and natural world of the Seneca people at their historic Town of Peace. The new Seneca Art & Culture Center is an interactive, interpretive facility at Ganondagan telling the story of the Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) contributions to art, culture and society for more than 2,000 years to the present day.
