The Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mining Company is a joint venture between the AngloGold Ashanti Corporation and the Golden Cycle Mining Company. Cripple Creek and Victor has recovered more than 23 million troy ounces of gold, along with silver, from the Cripple Creek Mining District and most of the land on which the company now operates has been underground mined in the past for its high grade veins. The company staffs professionals with expertise in the fields of geology, engineering and surveying, mechanical equipment operation and maintenance, mineral beneficiation operations and maintenance, laboratory analyses and metallurgy. The company has been conducting gold mining and precious metal extraction operations in the Cripple Creek Mining District since 1976 and has headquarters in Victor, Colo.
