Potato cakes are served saturated with rancid fat at this location (0234) routinely. The slimy appearance and bitter, oily taste are disgusting. I was informed by a manager that the grease is changed only once a week! The manager at breakfast "service" today (7/12/12) did not apologize for serving adulterated food when I returned the potato cakes. Furthermore, she thought that refunding 45 cents appropriately and sufficiently addressed this insult, which was distressing, to say the least, but this manager also leaned out the drive thru window to push the 45-cent refund and ticket into my car, while yelling in defense of her "corrective action.". I certainly will not return and will not rest until the owner, the public health service, and the FDA are fully aware of this unsafe practice. By the way, every Arby's I've visited in the Birmingham area will occasionally serve potato cakes cooked in rancid grease, but on this issue, location 0234 takes the (potato) cake!!
