The Mountain School of Milton Academy is an independent semester program that provides opportunities for high school students to live and work on an organic farm in Vermont. The school is accredited by the New England Association of School and Colleges. It works for the development of learning and creative thinking skills of children. The Mountain School of Milton Academy s curriculum includes English, math, physical education, art, history, French, Latin and Spanish. In addition, it employs a farm manager, admissions director, teachers and assistants. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including cross-country, knitting, cooking, tracking, yoga and dance. It provides a range of menu items for breakfast and lunch. The Mountain School of Milton Academy, located in Vershire, Vt., also conducts classes in humanities, environmental science, chemistry and physics.
