I cannot say enough how wonderful the staff is at the Caring Center. Our children have both attended the Verona Montessori House. The teachers there are so gentle and kind. We feel that sending our children to this preschool was the one of the very best decisions we have ever made as parents. We appreciate greatly the focus on learning about other cultures and countries, the peaceful approach to resolving conflicts, and the independence this program promotes. Our children have both thrived there and we feel so blessed because of that.

My experience could not have been more opposite. I enrolled my child at The Caring Center when my family moved to the area and because I am a teacher, I am probably more particular than most about who is teaching my child. I found every single staff person at The Caring Center to be well trained and very skilled at working with young children. Their lesson plans were always well done and my child left very well prepared to enter kindergarten. Please do not let the opinions of one bitter sounding woman keep you from checking out this wonderful place yourself. They have been around many years and I personally know many families who LOVE them.

Through word of mouth we had heard great things locally about this daycare center, specifically their Montessori program, however we've found it to be annoying at best and developmentally destructive to our child at a minimum. Here are just some of the problems we experienced:1. Lack of communication - important information was not supplied prior to signing up for the program and info supplied after first payment clears contradicts previous info given2. Ignoring of children - on several occassions I witnessed children desperately attempting to speak to their teacher whilst the teacher avoided eye contact and did not acknowledge the child3. Hidden fees - this center will nickel and dime you unexpectedly, including you having to pay for days your child is not allowed to attend (in service days, non-holiday days off, field trip days, and any snow or days when weather isn't good)4. Incompetent staff - there are too many instances to describe from administration to teachers
