Albert's West Division, located in Vernon, Calif., is a part of Albert's Organics. It is one of the leading distributors of organically grown produce and perishable items. Albert's Organics is a certified organic distributor that stocks more than 250 seasonal fruits and vegetables and other organic perishable food items. The company offers products to more than 5,000 natural food stores, supermarkets and restaurants in the United States. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of United Natural Foods, a distributor of natural foods and nutritional supplements. Founded in 1982, Albert's Organics operates six distribution centers located in Bridgeport, N.J.; Chesterfield, N.H.; Winter Haven, Fla.; Aurora, Colo.; and Mounds View, Minn. Its national procurement office is located in Soquel, Calif.
