Founded in 1922, Coast Packing Company was in the meat packing business for more than 40 years, before it changed its strategic operations. Coast Packing Company markets its own line of products, through its Viva brand, as well as a growing line of private-label shortenings for many leading food processors and distributors throughout the Southland.
