I hope others don't make the same mistake I did. Only after I met with Mr. Diaz did I discover that he was suspended from the practice of law for six months. He is a nice guy and seems sincere. His service seems fine. But I am worried that I trusted him with information about me, my work, and my life. I encourage others to look into the discipline record of attorneys before hiring them. Attorney records are available on the California Bar website. When you hire an attorney, you really need to rely on them. I just didn't feel good about having trusted him and then discovering this information after the fact.
