It is a part of Assisted, a woman-owned agency that provides assisted home care and hospice services. Assisted Healthcare Services serves catastrophically injured, medically fragile and ventilator-dependent patients. The organization also provides respite care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, and personal care and hygiene assistance services. Founded in 1989, Assisted is a Medicare- and Medi-Cal-certified health care organization. The parent company is accredited by The Joint Commission and is affiliated with the Alzheimer's Association Southland Chapter and the California Association for Healthcare Services at Home (CAHSAH).
