Saticoy Elementary School is a learning institution that offers a variety of educational services to students. Established in 1900, it enrolls children in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The institution employs a staff of more than 25 teachers and paraprofessionals, including an office assistant, custodian, health aide, resource specialist and special education instructor. Saticoy Elementary School conducts classes in several subjects that include English, math, science and social studies. It has a library that stocks books under several titles. Located in Ventura, Calif., the institution also has a parent-teacher association that supports several fundraising activities and events. In addition, it organizes open house discussions. The institution is a part of the Ventura Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools, as well as features child development and adult education programs.
