We gave the a deposit for a very simple small pool in April 2016. They didn't start working on pool until June 13th. It is the middle of Aug 2016 and we still don't have a pool. Haven't seen them in over a month. They have made two mistakes on the design of the pool. One was resolved one was not resolved and not what I wanted.In the first few weeks of construction they tried blaming the city for not coming out to inspect. Then I found out that was a lie. In reality and on several occasions we were told that they have so many jobs they can not get them all done so all of their customers will wait a long time. We were told our pool would take 5 to 6 weeks. I am wondering now if we will get a pool in 5 months considering we are at 4 months now. Ran into someone else who is using them for a remodel and they are having the same experience with these people. They do not return calls. They do not return texts. They do not return emails. They do not show up to work. They were suppose to show up yesterday to dig the trenches for electric and once again they did not show up. We have been lucky if we can get them to show up once a week to work but haven't seen them now in over a month. We just found out that we now have a lean on our house for one of the subcontractors they used on our pool because they bounced the check. I have never had such a bad experience. Easily the most unprofessional, lying, mistake making, excuse making people I have ever dealt with on a construction job. I am really not sure how they are still in business. If my pool is not done very soon I will be filing a complaint with BBB. Zero Stars for Independent Pools Inc, Venice Fl I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
