General Info

Community Eye Center (CEC) was first founded in 1980 by Dr. Anthony Limoncelli to serve the area residents by providing a central resource for the eye health needs of the community. For over three decades, CEC has provided excellence in total eye care through highly experienced physicians using the most state-of-the-art procedures and instrumentation available. Community Eye Center now has grown to include nine physicians at multiple Southwest Florida locations, an eye only surgery center and optical services. A part of CEC, St Lucy’s Eye Surgery Center is the only facility in Charlotte County dedicated exclusively to eye surgery. Selecting only the most qualified and dedicated eye health professionals to join the practice, Community Eye Center offers comprehensive and expedient care. This total eye care includes dry eye treatment, treatment of macular degeneration and all other retinal diseases, diabetic eye exams, eyelid & cosmetic surgery, contact lenses & glasses, and 24/7 emergency eye care. Dr. Simoneau constantly works to stay in tune with the many advances that are occurring within the eyecare industry. Whether she is providing a comprehensive eye exam, assessing vision for glasses or contact lens prescription or providing a diagnosis and management of eye diseases or injuries, rest assured that you are receiving the highest quality care available. A resident of Charlotte County, Dr. Simoneau participates in many community activities and community outreach efforts of Community Eye Center. She is a dedicated and caring optometrist who takes great pleasure in helping patients preserve a lifetime of healthy vision.
