Founded in 1945, North District Middle School serves the educational needs of more than 450 students and offers classes in grades seven and eight. The school offers instructions in a variety of subjects, including math, science and technology, social studies, language arts, computer science, English, health education, arts and crafts, music, and physical education. It provides various special education programs for students with learning disabilities. The school has athletic teams for football, volleyball, softball, cheerleading, baseball, and basketball. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as beta club, student council, and media club. Located in Varnville, S.C., North District Middle School is a part of Hampton School District 1.
