Provided by DexKnowsI called to get a price on a part. Two days later went to get the part. The woman gave me the price which ways much higher from what I was told on the phone a couple days before. I told her that was not the price I was given over the phone. She looked for another price which was a few dollars less. I explained the cost difference, "she said that is the only price I have". I left. I did buy one for the price I was first quoted from another parts store local, Tony's is off my list.

Provided by DexKnowsI have a 20yr old car and they still have the replacement parts every time. Even when I'm not sure the service is awesome and they come out to my car in the parking spot to make sure I'm getting the right part. Great prices on high quality parts over the years and alternatives for getting the lower end quality when money is short, too. Very helpful and casual place to go and feel welcome and walk out with the right stuff. They even helped me fix the lawnmower with replacement parts, too.

Provided by DexKnowsI'd go out of my way to get parts here. They've surprised me with parts that I thought I'd have to go to the dealer for. If Melynda would not spend so much on purses and wallets she could let her husband watch football on Sundays and take the car to a good mechanic to change the tranny fluid. $500+ for a purse - you're nuts.

Provided by DexKnowsYesterday, April 15, 2012, I went into Tony's and asked for some synthetic transmission fluid for my husbands truck. The guy at the counter went over to the shelf and pulled the product and I paid for it and left the store. I placed the product on the front seat of my car and drove home with it. When I got home my husband said that the product I bought wasn't synthetic so I got their number off my reciept and called ahead so that they could have the right product waiting for me.When I returned to the store they had the transmission fluid ready and waiting. I paid the difference, checked to make sure that it said synthetic on the bottle and left the store again. I again placed the product on my seat and turned to start my car. I smelled oil and looked over to find that the lid had come off the bottle and I now had a fairly large puddle of transmission fluid on my cloth seat. I grabbed the bottle and picked it up trying to keep it from getting all over. I grabbed the other bottle and checked the lid on that one and found it was loose too. I grabbed my keys and purse to leave the car. My wallet fell out so I reached down and picked it up.When I went back into the store the Mgr was looking at me. I explained what had happened and he showed me to a bathroom where I was able to wash my hands. I had gotten the gear oil on my clothes, my husbands coat, my seat and my new Coach purse and wallet. When I left the bathroom they handed my two new bottles of tranny fluid and a couple of rags to wipe my seat with. No offer of help or assistance was offered.I called back and spoke to the Mgr about my damages he said he would speak with the owner the next day. They offered my a total of $40 as a good will gesture. My clothes alone cost more than that. My purse and wallet were a gifts from my husband and I had only used them 3-4 times. They were brand new. I checked with Coach and neither item can be cleaned. They are ruined. They will cost somewhere around $500 to replace not counting the other damageI would like them to replace my purse and wallet. I will take care of the car and the clothes that were destroyed. We have been long time customers of this parts store and have recommended it many times to others. I feel that them suggesting that it was my fault because I hadn't checked the lids when I bought them to be ridiculous. Even if I had checked to make sure the lids were tight I wouldn't have thought to check to make sure the seals were there.
