  Aaron began his practice representing injured workers. His practice has expanded from workers’ compensation to include immigration, social security and personal injury law. Aaron is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyer Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He has volunteered to be both a mentor and a judge for law students at Willamette University College of Law and has lectured to various groups about immigration and workers’ compensation issues.

  Under federal law you are entitled to benefits if you are disabled. You are entitled to Social Security disability insurance benefits if you have worked enough to earn a certain numbers of credits based upon your earnings in the last ten years of working. (For younger workers a shorter time applies). Under Supplemental Security Income (SSI) the medical disability standard is the same, but the benefits are means tested based upon earnings and assets instead of an “insurance coverage”.

She started to practice primarily bankruptcy law in 2003 and has represented hundreds of clients since. Vanesa primarily focuses on bankruptcy and immigration practice.
