Laurin Middle School is a part of Battle Ground Public Schools, which serves more than 11,000 students. The school provides educational services to more than 600 students in grades five through eight. It conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers Title 1 and English Language Learners programs. Laurin Middle School provides special education programs for students with special needs. The school offers a French language course. It has a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising activities and special events. In addition, it offers a range of activities that includes art, music, band and physical education. The school s staff includes a psychologist, reading specialist, and speech and language pathologist.
