I just took my baby girl in for a well-child checkup today and was blown away by her new pediatrician! My babe's barely two and is in that sweet, somewhat shy stage - especially with those she doesn't know. She took to Dr. Maureen Snelling instantly, however. Her bedside manner (Dr. Snelling's, that is) is fantastic, and it's clear that her brilliance extends beyond the realm of medicine. She is calm, cool, and collected - completely personable, and she so obviously cares about the well-being of my child. She's the kind of gal that I could see going to lunch with. You know the kind? Absolutely down to earth, easy to talk with, and what a cute little style! (I know - that last part doesn't relate to "doctoring" at all, but it's so true! And who doesn't appreciate checkin' out a great pair of shoes - even in the midst of a doctor's appointment?!) I walked out of that office today with the confidence that my child is in good hands, and what could be sweeter than that?
