Fort Vancouver High School, located in Vancouver, Wash., offers classes in grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 1,600 students. It offers programs that prepare students for college and the curriculum includes subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies, computer technology, physical education, art and music. Instructional programs besides regular level courses include advanced placement and honors coursework, theater arts, media production, dance classes and special education programs. The school invites students to join various clubs, such as the debate, science decathlon, knowledge bowl, science, chess, culinary arts, drama and computer clubs. It offers a wide variety of sports, including football, volleyball, cross country, tennis, golf and swimming.
