Established in 1876, Central Mutual Insurance Company provides insurance options for automobiles, homes and businesses to more than 300,000 policy holders in over 15 U.S. states. It operates a claims department that is responsible for establishing company s claims policies, as well as handling large property and casualty claims. The company s regional loss control division completes surveys of current accounts to identify unsafe conditions and practices. Central Mutual Insurance Company also has a corporate accounting division that oversees the preparation of internal and external operating and financial reports for state insurance departments and rating bureaus. It maintains regional offices in Massachusetts, Georgia, Texas and Ohio. The company has received the Award of Excellence from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana.
